Christmas Party

We have the tradition of holding our party on the last Sunday before the holiday at the end of the year. Typically, the programme runs as follows:

2.00  p.m.  Welcome
2.15  p.m.  Presentation by pupils, comprising drama, dance and songs
3.15  p.m.  Visit of Santa and distribution of gifts
4.15  p.m.  Buffet meal
5.30  p.m.  Farewell

Parents who wish their child to ‘receive a gift from Santa’ need to drop it off at the office wrapped and clearly labelled in good time before the party.

Summer School

To date, we have run three summer schools. We are not able to confirm whether the programme will go ahead in a particular year until relatively late in our third term when the level of likely uptake and the resources available to us (such as staffing) are apparent.

Below is our schedule for 2022-23. (There was no summer school last year.)

Summer School 2023 Weeks 3-4

The format is loosely based on the British National Curriculum, but the emphasis is on group activity, games and puzzles, and creative expression. A field trip will be a visit to a local place of interest, such as a museum, an artisan’s workshop, a water park, a butterfly farm, an animal sanctuary, a botanical garden, a microcinema or a mini-golf course. (The Angkor Heritage Site would be another option but for the expense of admission for expatriate participants and staff. In future, we may be able to negotiate terms.) The cost of the outings is covered by the course fees.
